Melaka, i had been to this place few times, when i first come to KL, my aunty brought me and my mum there for a day trip, then after that i went there with my hubs and also brother in laws. My last trip there was before i had my boys, that was more than 5 years ago!!!! This is my boys first trip to Melaka, when they know they are going to Melaka for a short getaway, they got excited, and some more with all their favourite cousins around!
We went together with two other brother in laws and family and also sister in law and her hub. You can imagine the big group and 7 kids and one baby!!! My parent in law not following us, only we "young" people go for eating trip!!
I drive there, while hub sleeping in the car, two boys keep asking "are we there yet? why so slow one? why so far? where is jie jie they all? are they there already? why cannot see their cars?" You know all these question repeat and repeat till we reach Melaka town, i have to concentrate on the driving and also answering them. Till i got a bit "annoyed" and stop answering them, and i overheard Cruz telling Fearles softly, " don't ask again, mummy angry, she don't want answer you!" LOL!! Aiyo!!
here we are, Melaka!!!
We stay at Avillion Legacy Melaka, it is the same group as Avillion Port Dickson. Right in the town centre, from the hotel to Jonker Street, just 5-10 mins drive.
the hotel lobby...
can you spot the two "monkeys" are climbing at the counter, while their daddy was doing the check in ?
the room....
After we had done with the check in and wait for brother in laws and so, it's getting late, it is about 7.30 we still not have our dinner. Everyone so hungry, at first we want to go to Portuguese Village for Portuguese food, but cannot find the location on the GPS, we got three GPS and don't know which one they set it. Before going Melaka, my hub already doing his "homework", where and what to eat in Melaka. End up, we are at Jonker street, since we want to walk around at Jonker Street after dinner, and we afraid it will close already by the time we finish dinner and go there.
We settle our dinner at this Eleven Bistro. It's a pub and also a restaurant. Very nice interior design and look unique.
inside the bistro....
i was looking for this nyonya shop, Nancy Nyonya, had read some good review about it, and you know what, it just beside that Eleven Bistro and i never realise at all!!! Hub took this picture, when i am back home, when i look through all the picture, i found this picture and ask him where is this Nancy Nyonya, he said just next to Eleven Bistro! *slap forehead* If no i will sure bought some nyonya kuih and back to hotel room and eat!!
We are having this whole place for our gang, one big tables for the adults and a table for the kids. It is like a private room for us. hahahhahahahah
Look who is in Melaka town too??? Ashley!!! She and her parent was in Melaka town one day earlier, so when i called Barb, she told me she is somewhere in Jonker Street, she will hop over and said "Hi".
Three of them, born on the same day and same year! :)
Here are our food...........

After dinner, we walk around at Jonker street, a lot souvenier things to see, small cute things, food, drink, toys, clothes. After that, all the kids want to have a temporary tattoos on their hand, while they are doing that, i went walk around, and get some this cute mini ice cream. I bought some for the kids and hub and sister in law, but some of them don't fancy, end up i had two!!
