Hong Kong Trip - Part 5 & Final

Ok, i better finish my Hong Kong trip, before i forgot all.

Day 4 or day 5, we decide to take a "slow" walk, after walking for three full days. Hub decide to go back to Stanley Market again, just because of "one thing" (will reveal the answer in the pictures). I also agree to go to Stanley Market again, and i want to "shop" there. This round we decide not to take bus, we took MTR from our hotel to Central, then from Central we took taxi to Stanley Market, save time and most important we don't want to walk a lot again!!

Reach Stanley Market, first place we went was to the restaurant that we visited on the first day, to fill our stomach.

this is what hub missed and make him go back again. On our first day there, he saw someone having that, but he didn't order, he told me it look nice, and he decide to go back there just to try out this plate of rice!! He told me, it taste really good and yummy!! hahahhaha

i order "pig bun" chu par pau - a bit too dry...

instant noodles....

dumpling soup and a plate of fried rice (not in picture) for my boys.

After our heavy brunch, we took a slow stroll at the shop around there, do some little shopping, then we went to the other end of the stanley market. It's Saturday, we can see more crowd on weekend, and there was flea market and some activities going on.

a lot parent bringing the kids, relaxing over here...

flea market stalls...

Stanley Market main street, crowded with people, compare to our first day here are so different.

we enjoy the sea breeze here and cam whore around....

i like this picture, father and sons.

some people are fishing over here....

then we stop by here to see some students perform modern dance with story based. My boys enjoy so much! They even clapped when they finish the show.

We spent about 5 hours over here, then we took a taxi back to Central. We went to Yung Kee to buy their famous century eggs, sister in law called me and remind me to buy back the century eggs!! I went to get one dozen ONLY (now a bit regret), i worried how to carry it back. It cost about RM60 for one dozen century eggs! Expensive? hahhahahhahahhahah...

this is the heavenly century egg (picture from last year when we dine in Yung Kee)

their famous roast goose and "char siew"

this Tsui Wah just opposite Yung Kee, read some good review about it, but i didn't get the chance to try out this time.

After getting the Century eggs from Yung Kee, we took MTR back to hotel, take a rest. I drop by 7-11 that opposite our hotel, to buy some noodles and "char siew pau" back to hotel as our late afternoon tea before we went out for dinner later at night. After taking a short rest and start do some packing, since we are leaving the next day afternoon. We went out again at night around 7pm, we walked to Temple Street, it just about 10 -15 mins walk. Nothing much in Temple Street but there are a lot food and "road side" stalls selling food. Just like our Petaling Street, you can see tables all outside at the road, and it's full with people!! We thought want to dine there, but too much choice and with a lot people around, we cannot decide which restaurant or which food stalls to dine in! We end up went back to the same restaurant that we had dim sum and peking duck for dinner again! My boys are complaining their feet are painful, so do i, we just so "desperate" to find a place to sit down.

Temple Street, nothing much, just some t-shirts, bags, toys, souveniers.. compare to ladies street, i think ladies street more interesting. :)

our first roast goose in Hong Kong!!!!

We want order half goose, but the manager told us, will it be "too much" just for two of us? We said, ok, then we just order for 1/4 first, we two finish in no time, then we order another 1/4!! AHHAHAHAHAHAHHA...yummy!!!!

sweet and sour meat for the boys. This is the first time i said the sweet and sour meat taste not good at all!! The meat too hard and the taste is not there, even my boys also said not nice. :(

braised brinjal with mince meat...

now you see and now you don't.....yummmm

hub's plate!

After dinner, we went to nearby to have some little shopping. While i am busy shopping upstairs , hub and the two boys waiting me downstairs, lucky got something to keep them entertain. That is already 10.15pm+, you still can see a lot people around doing shopping and even on the street!!

Next day, we woke up a bit late, thought want to go back to the same restaurant to have morning dim sum before we depart to the airport, but knowing that day is mother's day, sure full of people, we decide not to have breakfast in town. After checked out from hotel around 11am+, we took shuttle bus to the MTR station and check in our baggage there and we took the train to airport.

Like last year, we packed two roast goose back again!! We went to the same place order the roast goose and we went for our "dim sum" lunch while waiting for our roast goose to be ready.

we are at this place for dim sum.....food look ok, but taste so so only, nothing to shout about and a bit disappoint also.

this steam char siew pau taste ok...

Guess how much we paid for the above dim sum??? It cost us about RM200+!!!!!!!!!!! We can have one roast goose already!! Bad choice.

those who would like to bring the roast goose back, can get from this restaurant. They will pack nicely for you and easy to carry too.

pictures from last year......

How we carry the one dozen century eggs back? It's in my boys back pack!! HAAHAHHAHA..one of them carry eggs, and one of them carry their own toys!!

We took the same airline back, Cathay Pacific, when the pretty jie jie give my boys another same goodies bag, you know what is my boys reaction? "Huh? Same one ar?" Jie Jie laugh at them and give them this type. A lunch bag and inside consists a lot coloring things and stickers.

and i don't know now it's so advance, we even can see how the flight depart and arriving on the monitor in front of us!!

We reached KL around 6.40pm, collect our baggage and took train to KL Sentral, brother in law pick us up and went straight to have dinner at Kota Damansara to celebrate mother's day. When we have dinner it is almost 9.30pm!!! The whole restaurant was full!! Lucky they made reservation and everyone are waiting for us for dinner. We bring the goose and ask the chef at the restaurant to heat up the goose and we savor it as our "appetizer"!

We enjoy our trip very much, despite we walked a lot. Cruz even ask me on the last day when we are still in Hong Kong. First thing in the morning he will ask, today, are we going to walk or take taxi or take train or take bus? I told him, we walked and take train and take taxi, he said "why must we take everything?" LOL!! They told me they like Disney, and they want to go again. :)
