Movie Review: Baby Mama

I didn't think I would like this movie, but I did :)

The acting was great as well as the story line. There were moments when I really laughed out loud. My favorite moment? The giant green crayon! Haha.

Kate (Tina Fey) wanted a baby so badly but she couldn't conceive, not to mention she was single. So she hired Angie (Amy Poehler) to be her surrogate mother. The only thing was that Angie lied to Kate because she really wasn't pregnant. Eventually she became pregnant but not Kate's baby. They bonded as friends, fought like sisters, but in the end, they loved each other. I recommend this movie :)

Funny scenes and a monologue from Angie :)

Rob: Do you want to go back to my--
Kate: Yes.
Rob: I was gonna say apartment.
Kate: I know. I'm 37, I know how this works.

Angie: When's the best day to tell someone horrible news?
Security Guard: Yesterday?
Angie: I'm sorry. I never should have listened to Carl. I should have done the right thing. I just... This whole thing made you feel so happy. And it made me feel so important. I should have told you the truth. And I'm sorry I didn't. I was just scared. I also want to thank you. I didn't like it sometimes, but you made me grow up. I know I was supposed to help you have a baby. But you ended up teaching me how to be a mother. So thank you. And I'm sorry.
