I have so much to talk about today! Can you believe it? It's only been a few days since the last Pink Spotlight! Whew!
Books/Author Meetup
I attended the writer's meeting at the Lady Jane's Salon in San Diego for the first time. I finally found the courage to go by myself and even more courage to ask someone how I could find the salon itself. Note: For those who didn't know (including myself), "salon" back in the day meant a public forum. Anyway, four authors read a chapter from their published or soon-to-be-released books. They were amazing! After the readings, I was able to socialize and get autographs and a picture!

I won a historical novel "The Queen's Pleasure" by Brandy Purdy from A Bookish Affair hosted by Meg :) The cover is beautiful! It also came with the same beautiful bookmark!
Finally, I was contacted and offered to review Butterfly by Kathryn Harvey. I was told that it was to the liking of Fifty Shades of Gray. I read the blurb and agreed to review it at the end of next month.
E-Books
I was reading a fellow blogger's post that said if I left my comment, I would get a short novel from the author Sharon Hamilton. I sure received the book quickly! It sounds really interesting :D

For a blog tour review, I received the two novels from the Frostbite series by Stacey Kennedy. The books had to be read in order so I got both of them even though the tour was only for the second book.

Beauty
First, I went to Little Italy with my friend Stephen. We had lunch, walked around and into an art store, and that was pretty much it. Before he dropped me off, I asked if we could stop by a Bath and Body Works store because I needed to replenish my stock, and the sale they were having was ending soon. They had a "Buy 3, Get 3 Free" sale on the lotions and a $3 sale on the hand soaps. I also had a coupon of "$10 off with a purchase of $40 or more". I was so happy afterwards!

| I love Sweet Pea, but I've never actually tried the lotion so I got one. Secret Wonderland was one of the lotions I purchased during the holidays, and I liked it so much, I thought I'd get another bottle. Pink Chiffon is a new scent for me. Here's to hoping I love it! |

| Can you tell I love the Cherry Blossom scent? I bought a mini size before and fell in love with it so I thought I would get two full sizes. I also fell in love with Be Enchanted, just like Secret Wonderland, so I decided to repurchase it. |

| I wanted to try Carried Away but didn't want to buy a full size bottle so I got a mini size. If I like it, I would purchase a full size one on my next trip. Finally, I've always wanted to try their hand soaps. Japanese Cherry Blossom was the only one I really liked so I decided to treat myself and bought it! |
Before going to see Magic Mike in theaters, I did a little shopping to kill some time. I went to Fashion 5 and I came away with a black and white NYX eyeliner, and a Pinky Natural NYX Lip Gloss. I absolutely LOVE the lip gloss! I think it's my new favorite shade.
