Rumors fly that Gen’s mom is holed away in Prague, a city recognized by humans for its serene beauty and intense culture, but Gen and Will know something humans don’t. Prague is haunted by dark, evil forces.
Can Genevieve and William save her mom, or will they be too late?
Some will live, others will fall. At what price do you walk away from those you love?
Interview
a Rafflecopter giveaway1. What made you want to write this novel?
It was more a daughter’s idea. It started as a terrible nightmare, and after talking about it, we turned something horrifying into something wonderful.
2. Do you already have the plot for Book 3?
Oh yes! I had the plot for three novels at once. I am thinking of adding a fourth.
3. Who are your inspirations?
God, my husband, and my children. They inspire me to want to share my stories with the world.
4. What are your future writing ideas?
Well, like I said, I am probably going to write a fourth novel. I also have started a zombie series, and I am working out a plot to a different paranormal series, as well.
5. If you could modify a part of your story, which would it be?
I would change the first half of the first book, changing Genevieve’s bratty behavior. Someone had convinced me to start her character like that and stupid me listened to them even though my gut told me not to. I will never let anyone talk me into changing a character again.
I asked Robin to give me a list of her favorite guilty pleasure foods. Check out what she had to say!
I must admit, good food is probably my greatest guilty pleasure. I love ANY food that tastes good, but you've asked for my top ten so here goes:
1. Fruit Loops—I know you’re probably thinking: dry Fruit Loops? What’s wrong with this lady. I don’t know what it is about them. When My grandson was two, his single mom went into the military, leaving him in my care. At the time I was working full time at our painting business, so every morning on the way to the sitter we would share his favorite snack, dry Fruit Loops, while he watched a movie in my SUV’s DVD player. I was hooked instantly. That was over three years ago and I’m still munching on them today.
Arianne: I eat dry Fruit Loops, there is definitely nothing wrong with that. In fact, I eat my cereal dry.
2. Sugar Free Vanilla Ice Cream—I love, love, love, vanilla ice cream, but it must be sugar free. I have a bowl every night before bed.
3. Glazed Doughnuts—Mmm, mmm, mmmmm! OMG, there is almost nothing better than fresh, hot Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts. At least once a month I would make the hour long drive to the nearest Krispy Kreme Doughnut shop to pick up a dozen hot glazed doughnuts fresh off the conveyor belt, and I’d eat three on the way home. Recently, they opened a store closer to where I live, so once a month turned into once a week.
4. Baked Sweet Potato—Another of my favs. I know you’re probably thinking they are one of the more nutritious foods to eat. Well, that may be true, but I have to pile it high with butter, sending nutritious flying out the window. Lol.
5. Butter—Yes, I’ll admit it. Love butter. Always have. Always will. My mom said when I was a little girl (maybe four years old) I would sneak into the fridge and run my finger along the butter stick over and over. She eventually had to hide it inside another container to keep me out of it.
6. Chicken & Dumplings—Probably my most favorite food. My mother grew up on a farm in the mountains of Alabama. Talk about knowing how to cook? She made the best, melt in your mouth, southern chicken and dumplings EVER!
7. Fettuccini Alfredo—I am Italian, well, at least half Italian. I grew up eating some nights and country cooking on the others. I could eat Fettuccini Alfredo EVERY DAY! Olive Garden is one of my favorite places to eat lunch and their Fettuccini Alfredo is to die for. Eccellente!
8. Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri—Technically it’s not a food, but I drink mine served with a ton of whipped cream on the top. My favorite frozen drink.
9. Dove Chocolate—I have eaten a lot of chocolate in my time, and even some of the most expensive chocolates can’t hold a candle to Dove. The milk chocolate Dove, that is.
10. Steak, Beef—I love a steak cooked over an open flame. Medium rare. My favorite cut is a Porterhouse. That’s like a T-bone before the good meat is cut away.
Okay, there you have it. My guilty pleasure foods in no specific order. It’s just how they came to mind. Now, if you will excuse me, I am suddenly famished … lol.
