Just Released! Night Thief by Lisa Kessler (Guest Post)

Hi everyone –

It’s always so fun to visit Arianne’s blog!!!

My new novella in the Night Series, Night Thief, just released this weekend and I’m super excited to share it with you!

This one is actually a prequel that takes place in Paris in 1840.  It was the first time I‘ve ever written a historical paranormal, and it ended up being a lot of fun!  It’s such a romantic time period…  Women wore corsets and floor length gowns, couples waltzed to string quartets, and instead of getting in a car, the hero climbs on a horse…  *dreamy sigh*

Add in paranormal elements like immortals, and it really turned up the romance…

In Night Thief, our heroine is a thief with a secret.

Blurb:

After the fall of the Mayan civilization, Kane, an immortal Night Walker, has taken refuge in France for over 800 years. The modern world holds little interest for him until the night he meets the Golden Thief and is robbed of much more than his pocket watch.

Marguerite Rousseau is living a double life. By day she is the assistant to an eccentric French artist, Antoine Berjon, and by night she dons elegant evening gowns to woo French dignitaries before lifting their wallets.

Sparks ignite when Kane captures the thief, but Marguerite harbors a dark secret that could ruin them both.

Do you have a favorite time period for romance? What about blending historical and paranormal together?

Thanks again for the blog spot, Arianne!
